Hosting on our own network, run by the people you talk to
PlanetNode is a Dutch hosting provider for gamers and professionals. No resold cloud, but our own equipment in Dutch data centres and engineers who answer the tickets themselves.
Who we are
Started with Minecraft servers, grown into a network of our own
PlanetNode started in 2019 with Minecraft hosting for Dutch players. Those servers are still running, but VPS hosting, dedicated servers, web hosting, colocation and domain names were added along the way. What stayed the same: you order from a Dutch company and you talk to the people who build the servers.
Everything runs on our own autonomous system, AS211588, the network of Innovation Harbor B.V., of which PlanetNode is part. That network connects to five transit providers and peers at six internet exchanges: Frys-IX, ERA-IX, NL-ix and Speed-IX in the Netherlands, plus 1-IX EU and nine abroad. The network core sits in Amsterdam, at NorthC Kabelweg and NIKHEF Housing.
The servers themselves are in Amsterdam, at BIT Datacenters in Ede and at Greenhouse Datacenters in Naaldwijk. All three in the Netherlands, all three within reach of our own engineers. Which location plays which role is on the data centre page.

How we work
Four things we do not let go of
No promises we cannot measure. Commitments you can hold us to.
Engineers, not scripts
A ticket or a phone call lands with someone who runs the network and the servers.
Own network and hardware
Our own AS, our own address space via RIPE and our own equipment in the racks. No resold capacity.
Fair use, measured honestly
No "unlimited traffic". We measure at the 95th percentile and explain how on the fair-use page.
Cancel monthly
No annual contract holding you in place. Not happy? Cancel from the client panel.
