What does a proxy do?

A proxy is the front door of your network. Players connect to one address and the proxy sends them on to your lobby, your survival world or your minigames, without reconnecting. The proxy itself runs no world: you need separate Minecraft servers for that.

Only a proxy

This plan runs Velocity or BungeeCord, not Paper, Spigot, Vanilla or mods. You add your backend servers separately.

One address for your network

Players join on one address, with a free subdomain if you want one, and switch servers with a command or a menu.

Plugins on the proxy

Proxy plugins handle what spans the whole network, such as a shared chat, permissions or a server selector.

Your own proxy

Prices per month, including 21% VAT. You can always upgrade, without data loss.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a Minecraft server?
No. This plan is only a proxy: you cannot run Paper, Spigot, Vanilla or mods on it. The worlds themselves run on separate Minecraft servers that you put behind the proxy.
Velocity or BungeeCord, which do I pick?
Either works. Velocity is developed by the team behind Paper, BungeeCord by SpigotMC. Plugins for one proxy do not work on the other, so first check which proxy the plugins you want support.
What are the specifications?
Our nodes run on AMD Ryzen and EPYC with DDR4 ECC memory and NVMe storage. How much memory the proxy gets is shown with the plan on this page. A proxy only forwards connections and needs little.
Can I cancel, or pay for longer?
Yes. You cancel your proxy yourself in the client area. You can pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
Can you help me set up my network?
Yes, our customer service is happy to get you started. You can also get help from the community in our Discord.
Where are your servers located?
In the Netherlands, on our own network with locations in Amsterdam, Ede and Naaldwijk.
Can I add a subdomain like play.pnjoin.nl?
Yes. Log in to panel.planetnode.net and open your server. Under the 'Subdomains' tab you create a subdomain.
