Who chooses a .co?
A .co is a common choice for startups and young companies that want a short name that is no longer free under .com: a SaaS product, a design studio or a brand that sells internationally from day one. Officially it is the country code of Colombia, but internationally it is read as short for company.
There are no registration conditions. Watch out for typos, though: visitors type .com out of habit. So check first who holds the .com version of your name, because part of your visitors will end up there.
