Who it is for
Who chooses a .games?
A .games suits anyone who makes games or organises around them: an indie studio with its own title, a clan or gaming community that wants more than a Discord server, a LAN party, a game shop or a review site. The word says straight away what the site is about, no explanation needed.
There are no registration conditions. If your community revolves around a single game, a .gg is often shorter and more recognisable; .games works better for several games or for a brand that is broader than one server.
