What network options are available?
The network services with colocation: BGP transit, DIA and transport, port speeds, BYOIP and how our network is built.

With colocation you decide how your server connects to the internet. This article lists the options: the kind of service, the port speed, your own IP space and how our network is built.
Network services
BGP transit
Full internet connectivity with a BGP session to our network. You control your routing and announce your own prefixes or use IP addresses from us.
- Full internet access
- Your own BGP session and routing control
- IP addresses included, or your own space through BYOIP
- For: hosting, content delivery and anything where you want to route yourself
DIA (Dedicated Internet Access)
An internet connection where we do the routing. You need no router of your own; you connect your switch or server directly.
- Direct internet connection
- No router on your side
- IP addresses included
- For: simple setups, branch offices and anyone who does not want to run BGP
Transport
A layer-2 connection without internet access, point-to-point or multipoint.
- Pure transport, no internet routing
- For: private networks, links between datacenters and private WAN connections
Which service is available at which location depends on the location and the free ports. Ask before you order equipment.
Port speeds
We deliver ports of 1, 10 and 40 Gbit/s. Other speeds are discussed on request. Start with what you need now; you can upgrade later.
Traffic is fair use, measured at the 95th percentile. Read how that works on the fair use page.
BYOIP: your own IP space
You can announce your own IPv4 or IPv6 prefixes with us. That keeps you in control of your addresses and lets you take them along when you change location or provider. Everything about it is in what BYOIP options are available.
How our network is built
Our network (AS211588, held by Innovation Harbor B.V.) runs on an EVPN-VXLAN spine. That is what lets us deliver VLANs between racks and between datacenters without you building anything yourself. See how to set up VLANs between datacenters.
Towards the outside world we connect to several transit providers and internet exchanges. Exactly which ones changes from time to time; the current list is on bgp.tools. Peering with our network is possible too, see can I set up peering.
