Chaos Cubed is the second game drop of 2026 and takes you deep underground into brand-new toxic sulfur caves, home to one of the most unique mobs Minecraft has ever seen.
Here are the most important changes listed:
Sulfur Cube Mob
A brand-new mob that can physically absorb blocks and take on their properties. If it absorbs wood it rolls like a ball, if it absorbs ice it slides like a hockey puck. A game-changer for custom maps and mini-games!
Sulfur Block Set
A complete new set of sulfur building blocks in warm yellow tones, perfect for builders looking for a fresh palette for their next project.
Cinnabar Block Set
A striking red-toned block set mined in the sulfur caves. Combine cinnabar with sulfur blocks for dramatic, fiery builds.
Nausea Pools
Toxic pools in the sulfur caves inflict nausea on careless explorers. Bring the right gear and plan your expedition carefully.
Technical Improvements
Chaos Cubed ships with engine improvements and bug fixes that pave the way for the graphical upgrades coming later in 2026, such as Order-Independent Transparency.
