How do I install a modpack on my Minecraft server?

You install a modpack with the modpack installer on the Modpacks page in the game panel. You choose from CurseForge, Modrinth, Feed The Beast, Technic, ATLauncher and Voids Wrath, and the installer puts the modpack on your server with the right version and mod loader. That also works for modpacks on Forge and NeoForge.

What you need

• Enough memory. Large modpacks need a lot; the modpack's page usually says how much.
• The name of the modpack, and which version you want.

Open the modpack installer

There are two ways:

• Through the client portal: open your Minecraft service on my.planetnode.net, go to the Reinstall tab and choose the Modpack option under Or a modpack in step 1. In step 4, click Open modpacks in the panel. You're logged in straight away.
• Through the game panel: open your server on panel.planetnode.net and go to Modpacks.

Install a modpack

1. At Provider, choose the source: CurseForge, Modrinth, Feed The Beast, Technic, ATLauncher or Voids Wrath.
2. Type the modpack's name at Search query. Page size shows more results per page.
3. Click Install next to the modpack.
4. In the Install modpack window, choose the version you want at Modpack version.
5. Only turn on Delete files if you want to start with an empty server. Everything is then wiped, including your world.
6. Click Install modpack. Your server stops and the modpack is installed; follow it in the Console. The first start of a modpack takes longer than usual.

Let players join

Players install the same modpack, in the same version, with the CurseForge app or the Modrinth App. Then they join as usual using your server's address.
