How do I reset my Minecraft server's world?

You reset your Minecraft server's world by deleting the world folders. On the next start the server creates a new world. Your settings, plugins and list of OPs are kept; only the world is new.

Reset the world

1. Log in to the game panel, open your server and make a backup.
2. Stop your server with Stop.
3. Go to Files. Tick the world folders:
   • world
   • world_nether and world_the_end (only on Paper, Purpur and Spigot)
4. Click Delete at the bottom and confirm.

6. Start your server with Start. Creating the new world can take a moment.

Reset only the Nether or the End

On Paper, Purpur and Spigot, delete only the world_nether or world_the_end folder and start the server. On Vanilla, the Nether and the End are inside the world folder, as the folders DIM-1 and DIM1.

Check

During startup the console shows Preparing level "world" followed by Done. Join your server; you start in a new world.
